Active Living Friendship Club Volunteer

Location: Shepton Mallet

The volunteer team help support the organiser to create a warm and welcoming environment in which a range of activities including: bingo, quizzes and board games are provided before and after the lunch. Tasks may range from helping members to feel welcome, comfortable and supporting them to enjoy the activities, serving and clearing lunch or assisting with preparation of room and equipment.


Asylum Seeking Children’s Team Volunteer

Location: Burnham on sea, Wellington, Frome and Trowbridge

Join a team of enthusiastic support staff and social workers who support children and young people in Somerset who are unaccompanied and in the process of applying for asylum in the UK. As a volunteer in this service you’ll bring energy, local knowledge, mentoring and guidance to children and young people who are currently in supported accommodation or foster care.
